In commemoration of their 35th anniversary celebration, Flaming Evangelical Ministries will be having their annual making a mark convention at their church auditorium at Syke Street in Freetown.
Founder and General Overseer, Flaming Evangelical Ministries, Bishop Dr. Fredrick Abu Bakarr Sidique Sulaiman Koroma, said this year’s revival runs from the 11th to the 14th January 2022 at 5:30pm each day. He disclosed that there will also be a prophetic conference which he said will run from Wednesday 12th January to Friday 14 January at 9am to 12 noon each day.
According to Bishop Koroma, the theme for this year’s revival is “My Year of Supernatural Acceleration for Divine Change.”
He disclosed that the revival will be climaxed by a celebration and thanksgiving service on Sunday 16th January 2022 at the Church auditorium on Syke Street in Freetown. The guest speaker for this power packed revival is Reverend Paye Bagnon from Liberia.
The esteemed Bishop said the convention is an annual event that attracts people from the Diaspora and brings together people from different churches, as well as non-Christians.
“We bring out the word of God to people in a way and manner that they could be spiritually absorbed, and we have various teachers who are experience and will be unfolding the word of God during the revival,” he said.
He spoke highly of the guest speaker who will be ministering during the evenings of the revival. He said Reverend Paye Bagnon is renowned and well respected among all and sundry. “He is a man with a prophetic gift, healing, miracle, among others,” he added.
“It has become a norm in our revivals that the sick will be healed, cripple will walk, blind eyes will be opened, the dumb will speak, cancer will disappear, disease of the internal organ will be healed, long growth tumor will disappear,” he said. Bishop Koroma urged all and sundry to attend the revival, including those that are hospitalized for them to get a word from God that can change their lives and situation.
“You may be stagnant in life, for you have been working for years, and I have been on the same place for ages. What do you do to accelerate your life? How do you move from stagnation to developing a momentum that will surpass all the other years? During the course of the revival, we shall look at topics that will answer the above questions,” he assured.
Bishop Koroma also disclosed that he will be handling a topic titles “No Verdict is Final.” According to him, it doesn’t matter what pronouncement a doctor may have made against you, or what your landlord, parents or your spouse has made against you, for God he said can overrule any verdict. “We will cancel whatever negative verdict that has been passed against your life and propel you into your destiny,” he further assured.
“Like other conventions we have had, this year’s has a unique theme, (my year of supernatural acceleration for divine change). For this year’s theme, God is going to put speed into your life and you will experience changes, such material, financial, spiritual and every area of your life,” he maintained.
Bishop Koroma said Flaming Church has the capacity to accommodate thousands of people. He said they are in full conformity with the covid-19 protocols, including compulsory use of face mask. “Our church can sit about 6,000 people,” he revealed.
He concluded by urging people not to take this year as any other year, but a dynamic one in which one should expect God to accelerate one’s speed, as well as expecting God to overruled and overturn whatever decree has been spoken over one’s life.
Bishop Koroma said that visitors from overseas will be safe. He opined that Sierra Leone is one of the most peaceful countries in the world, noting that over the years, the church atmosphere has been relatively peaceful. However, he said police officers will be deployed at the church compound to help man the gate and control the crowd.
