The momentum increases, and the ambience is extraordinary as dramatic actions unfolded in six venues across the country to mark the climax of the first-ever Women’s Premier League in Sierra Leone.
While the title race is still on, a draw will be enough for table-toppers Mogbwemo Queens to record their name in the history books emerging as the first-ever champions of the Women’s Premier League when hosting Correctional Service FC in Rutile.
On the other hand, the visitors are determined for a resisted fight to maintain its seventh position in the league.
Kahunla Queens the second-placed side in the league will go head-to-head with Ram K FC at the Kenema City field in the South-East derby with a must-win mission that will give them an edge to win the league on goals difference if Correctional Service FC beat Mogbwemo Queens, however, Ram K FC are not in the position to lose all their derbies in the second leg.
In Makeni at Wusum field, Mena Queens FC will clash with Sierra Leone Police FC which sits in the third position the host side is hoping to shock the in-form visitors to potentially finish in the seventh position.
Malema Queens is looking forward to ending the race with winning ways as they host VEM Buck FC at Kailahun field that has only registered a win in the league last weekend.
FC Kallon needs a win in Kambia against Patricia Umu FC for them to earn a chance to seal the fifth position; the home side comfortably occupies the ninth position.
The final Northern derby in the league will play at Kabala field when bottom side Albitaya Queens FC welcomes Koya Queens, all six matches kicks off at 4:15 pm respectively.
