Female Premier League Releases Player Of The Year Voting

The Female Premier League Board has on 25th April 2023 released the players of the year voting portal where the general public will have the chance to vote for their players ahead of the awards night on 5th May 2023.

A statement from the board reads

All Participating Clubs Tuesday 25th April 2023   The Board wishes to inform All twelve Clubs that after taking into account the available statistics, reports and feedback from matches, the players below have been shortlisted as nominees for the Best Player Award:

1) Kumba Brima of Kahunla Queens 2) Matilda Kabba of Kahunla Queens 3) Sally Turay of Malema Queens 4) Marie Kamara of Ram Kamara FC 5) Mabel Gbongay of Mogbwemo Queens 6) Adama Kargbo of FC Kallon

To make the voting participatory, each of the twelve Clubs is allocated two votes to cast as they wish for any of the aforementioned players. Clubs must use up both votes. They may wish to allocate both votes to the same player, or share their votes between two players. The decision is up to each Club. If there is a tie at the end, the process will be repeated to find a winner.

The Female Premier League board reach its climax on the 25th of March 2023 as Mogbewmo Queens we’re crowned Champions for the maiden edition in the Country under the Current President Thomas Daddy Brima.
