FC Kallon Football club in their last five matches won three and lose one with a draw, while East End Lions Football club in their last five matches won all five games plus four more win as they are running nine games unbeaten.
Fans describe such fixture as mouthwatering and never to missed match as it is highly competitive from both teams.
According to the team manager for FC Kallon Football, Tunde Scott said the team is well prepared and ready to face their bitter rivals with high spirits as they look to continue their winning runs.
He affirmed that despite they have four players who have been called up for international assignment with the national team, but expressed optimism as that will not stop their winning runs and have better replacement for them.
He added that the team is in high spirits with no injury concerns going into the crunch tie against East End Lions Football club on Saturday, because the winning spirits they got from their last fixtures against Central Parade Football Club as the defeated them by four goals to nil. He is hopeful that they maintain such spirit.
While the head coach for East End Lions, Ibrahim Sillah said their approach to every game is basic with the same spirit of determination, also adds that the clash with opponent will not be an easy ride but will stay focus to maintain their standard and win.
“We know it going to be tight fixture, because any times we meet in the league they normally give us a tuff match, but am sure my boys are ready to face them again”, said Coach Sillah.
In the 2018/2019 Premier league season East End Lions Football club defeated FC Kallon Football club back to back, but since then the two side have not met.
On Friday at the Siaka Stevens Stadium East End Tigers Football club will welcome Kamboi Eagles football club as both looking to secure a win after draw in their last matches the host may want to stop the Visitors from scoring, but after a two all draw against Central Parade Football Club at the Kenema Town field Kamboi Eagles football club is desperate to get back to winning ways in the Sierra Leone Premier league.
