FC Kallon Female team has won the maiden pre-season female trophy by defeating Ram Kay FC by two goals to one.
Ram Kay went in front in the first-half but their lead was cancelled in the second-half with a prolific goal from FC Kallon’s Kumba Zainab Brima. Brima also got her brace shortly to put Kallon in front.
The Female Pre-Season Tournament attracted teams from neighboring Guinea but were sent home early.
The win for FC Kallon is believed to be a big booster for them as they prepare for the second edition of Sierra Leone Female Premier League scheduled for early next month according to the Acting General secretary of Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).
