The 2006 Sierra Leone Premier League and FA Cup Champions, FC Kallon, continue their preparation for the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup Competition at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) stadium in Monrovia. Kallon FC won the first leg by a goal scored by left winger Phillip Conteh.
The club is in high spirits to finish the 180 minutes match against Buffles Du Borgou to seal a place in the next rounds of the competition.
The head of the Technical Team of the club, former Sierra Leone and International Milan forward Mohamed Kallon believes that his players have the potential to finish on the high side.
“I believe we have a battery of committed and very experienced technical heads who are prepared to give their best to the lads to finish this job. We know it’s going to be a difficult match but we are going to stick to our game plan and focus on the next 90 minutes. The players are disciplined and well determined to raise the flag of the country to its highest level, so let’s wait and see”, he stated enthusiastically.
All 25 players believe that they have to work harder and improve on their previous performance in Benin, and are all focused on the big picture which is to see FC Kallon in the next phase of the competition come Saturday, September 17th, 2022.
There has been a modality for thousands of fans to travel and support the team in Monrovia, Liberia and they will serve as a motivating factor to the players to give their 100% support to the team.
