Sierra Leone’s star cyclist, Fatima Deborah Conteh, was delighted over her recent “Guinea Friendship Ride,” which began on July 24 and ended on July 25, 2023.
She was particularly pleased with the enthusiastic reception she received from her teammates, who cheered her on every lap.
Conteh cycled a distance of 238.84 kilometers from Sierra Leone to Guinea, at an average speed of 17.5 kilometers per hour. She said that she was inspired by her teammates’ support and that it motivated her to give her best performance.
The road show was organized by Conteh and her team, and it was the first time they had embarked on such a journey to Guinea.
The purpose of the road show was to promote friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Conteh’s teammates were also motivated by her performance, and they were proud of her accomplishment.
They said that she is an inspiration to them, and they are confident that she will continue to achieve great things in the future.
