She called on the pupils to stand up against rapist as those who want to sexually penetrate them must remember that it is a felonious offence punishable by law.
Madam Jabbie Bio spoke about her sixty thousand sanitary pad distribution across the country, saying her husband has been very supportive of the venture “just to see that the girls stay in school to achieve their education…”
She added: “I don’t want my ladies in school to use an unhygienic piece of cloth during their menstrual period but sanitary pad that is under very good hygienic condition” she stressed.

A pupil of Queen of the Rosary Secondary School in Bo, Agnes Pratt lavished praises on the first lady for what she described as an educative lecture, meant to motivate them to achieve their education.
Agnes confessed that she has been using a piece of cloth because her parents could not buy her sanitary pad and sometimes she does not come to school because the piece of cloth cannot properly absorb the messes, which drops on her uniform and ultimately become a subject of mockery among his colleagues who have not started experiencing their menstrual period.
“With the sanitary pad given to me, coming to school is now going to be regular,” Agnes reassured the first lady.
