Kassim Koroma on has Monday night stabbed his elder brother Alie Koroma to death at Waterloo in the outskirt of Freetown.
Alie Koroma was a father to six children including an eyewitness (one of the deceased child) narrated the incident to this medium.
According to eyewitnesses they said after Kassim stabbed his elder brother to death he then walked himself to the police station and reported the incident Zainab Kamara said.
Alie was said to be the eldest brother to three brothers and they all lived in the same household sources claimed.
The incident according to eyewitness said the incident started with an argument and a physical altercation with Kassim.
However, when this was happening the deceased Alie Koroma was reportedly at the Mosque for nightly prayers and upon his return found the two brothers fighting and he tried to separate them the two from fighting when his younger brother stabbed him in the neck and he immediately collapsed and bled to his death.
There are three brother’s the youngest of them argued with the second eldest brother’s wife, as this resulted in the brother’s arguing. The argument got so intense and this led to a fight. The eldest brother who was coming from Isha prayer after breaking the Sunnah fasting of the moon intervened and upon that he was stabbed by the younger brother who had made threatening remarks of killing him which he succeeded in doing said Zainab Kamara.
A police source said the matter has now been transferred to Freetown and that the suspect has been jailed at the Pademba Road Prisons.
