“Evangelical College of Theology is Corrupt Free” – Rev Dr. Fornah

Principal of the Evangelical College of Theology situated at Juiway, in the Western Rural District, Rev. Dr. Fornah has dispelled speculation that students of the college engaging in cultism by saying that his college is corrupt free and does not tolerate cultism and any form of fraternity.

He said the college has introduced mainstream courses to add value to students looking at the spiritual and social arms.

He noted that with their credible faculties, the college has stood the test of time since the early 1960s when it was founded.  

In 1991, the college started offering Diploma courses in Community Development Studies, Banking and Finance. The college also offers Computer Studies, Adult Education, and Global Leadership Studies and does Masters Programme through its affiliation with the University of Sierra Leone.

Founded on 12th October, 1964, the Evangelical College of Theology started with six Pastors offering religious courses only. It metamorphosed into secular courses to attract more students and produce a valuable workforce. 

Meanwhile, concerns have been raised that giving   with the growth of the student population; the college might have been overwhelmed. The college authority said the campus is well fenced with staff quarters and a clinic.
