Electrician Remanded For Theft

Mohamed Bangura an Electrician and Foday Bangura a Masoner made their first appearance before Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh of Ross Road Court No.3 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to law and Larceny in a dwelling house contrary to section 13 (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of the offence on Wednesday 21st December 2022 at 75 Bia Bureh Road Quarry Kissy the western Area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Larceny; on count two at the same place and date entered into the dwelling house of chief Yambora Kargbo and stole therein eight Fouls valued five hundred and sixty new Leones(560) and five big and small pots value three thousand three hundred Leones(3,300) Property of Chief Yambora Kargbo.

The charges were read and explained to the accused persons who pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor Deputy Superintendent Fatmata Kuyateh seek for a short adjournment date for her to get a proper conference with her witness and she applied for a bench warrant against the second accused person.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Daboh refused bail and sent the accused persons to the male correctional centre in Freetown, and the matter was adjourned to the 19th of January 2023 for further hearing.
