East End Lions Football Club has signed United Kingdom (UK) based Sierra Leonean International midfielder, Khalifa Jabbie on a short-term deal amid the 28-year successful International Football career in Europe and across the World.
The deal with the player was signed in London after intensive negotiations with the club.
The Chairman of East End Lions football club Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. had travelled to London to complete the deal with Jabbie for a record breaking amount which remains undisclosed. Many clubs had offered the player a new deal but unwilling to match what the East End Lions club had on table.
According to Alpha Rashid the assistant team manger of East End Lions football club they signing of Jabbie will help the technical team greatly to select the right players for the different department as a midfielder with a wealth of International experience will create a boost for the team as they want to retain the title back, the Public will be duly inform as to worth of the player.
The players is expected to be with the team this Weekend and there for Calling on East End Lions supporters to rally behind to the team.
The Former Sierra Leonean International footballer, Junior Parade Koroma who now serves as an International agent for the club said Jabbie flexibility in the field makes him unique.
Jabbie said “am excited about the East End Lions project and grateful to the club’s management team.
The East End Lions Football club was founded in 1928 and has won over 11 league titles in Sierra Leone with the most recent being the 2019 Sierra Leone Premier League.
In it strive the club has represented the Country in regional and continental inter club competition’s and emerged as runners -up in 1996 in the West Africa Football Union Cup.
