East End Lion Football Club will on Friday 27th January 2023  welcome defending champions  Bo Rangers Football Club in the hunt for the top spot in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League at the Government Trade Center Mini Stadium.

The two sides go into this fixture, with just a place and six points separating them in the table, but the Rangers are coming into this fixture after Victories over Kamboi Eagles and Lamboi FC, while third-place East End Lions were upset withdrew against FC Johansen and left reeling following their late goal against Central Parade, but the match later abandoned in their last outing.

Bo Rangers have been knocked by some injury concerns in their last two matches but will welcome Ibrahim Sesay and Fleance Kargbo from illness and injury respectively. However the Rangers will be without Sembu Kargbo, Abu Bakarr Bangura, Abu Bakarr Kanu Skipper Saidu Bah, and Amadu Mansaray due to injuries.

East End Lions have a full-fit squad to face the current Champions after some players have recovered from injuries.

The Killers have a better edge over their rivals, with eight wins out of the ten previous meetings. Rangers have one (1) win with a draw since 2011.

The 2019 Champions can end the current Champions’ unbeaten run, but it will take a huge improvement from the home side as the Visitors have collected (10) points on their away travel.

At the Government Trade Center on Sunday, Mighty Blackpool will be looking to Strengthen their grip on the title race in the Premier League when they go head-to-head with East End Tigers.

The Tistas Boys held to a (2-2) all draw by Bai Bureh Warriors in Freetown at Angola field at the West End of Freetown, while the Tigers suffered a (1-0) defeats to FC Johansen at the Lungi Central Field.

East End Tigers Manager Victor Lewis is desperate to end Mighty Blackpool’s unbeaten run in the league. He said his side is well-determined to beat Mighty Blackpool on Sunday, noting

” We are in a desperate mood to win Sunday’s clash with the Tista’s boys.” Saying that Sunday is our turn to grab all three points.

On Saturday at the Brima Attougia Mini Stadium Port Authority Football Club will welcome Old Edwardian Football Club in a crunch tie in the Sierra Leone Premier League.

The Water Front boys are coming to this fixture after a win against Freetonian Football Club as Joseph Cleveland got the only goal from the penalty spot, While Old Edwardian were held to a goalless against Kamboi Eagles and Saturday’s match is a decider in the log as the two teams look to extend their lead in the Premier League standing.
