East End Lions Football Club will today welcome bitter rival Mighty Blackpool Football Club in a Pre-Season Gala Competition organized by the Luangwa Football Club to prepare the teams ahead of the new Premier League Season.
The two teams are yet to meet this season in any competitive matches. The matches are to be played in five different venues within the Western area and they organizers have pleaded with the teams to honor the agreement on the date they consented to play the Gala Competition.
Alhassan Idris Bangura the public relations Officer of East End Lions said they are glad to get more players before the commencement of the premier League. He further that though it was a Friendly match, they want to win and put some smiles on the faces of the demanding fans.
Ibrahim Sankoh the Public Relations Officer of Mighty Blackpool said as a club they are ready to take on East End Lions in the Pre-season Gala Competition the players are in high spirits to do the task against their counterparts, though it not going to be an easy match they are ready for the task at hand.
Both clubs have failed to win their last matches at the Brima Attoguia Mini Stadium, and the fans of the two clubs will want to see who is going to carry the day.
