The defending Champions of the Sierra Leone Premier league East End Loins Football club has on Sunday 19th September 2021 beat Kamboi Eagles football club by two goals one to top the Sierra Leone Premier league Table for the first time since the start of the League.
Goals from Mohamed M. Kamara and Ishmael Dumbuya help East End Loins to silent the Eagles of Kenema in a mouthwatering encounter, the Kamboi Eagles football club starts the match with some clinical chances in the first ten minutes with lots of chances but failed to penetrate and the final third the team was not up to the task at the Siaka Stevens Stadium.
East End Loins pick up their strength of the match in the 12 minutes of play starts to move the ball in their usual performance and the opening goal came in the 13 minutes of play When Mohamed M. Kamara scored a spectacular goal, he take the strike within the (18) yard Box and displaced the Goal-Keeper the wrong way. The second goal of the match came in the thirty minutes of playe when Ishmael Dumbuya get a cross from a corner kick and he decided to take a long shot and put the ball back of the net.
The first ends with two goals in favor of East End Loins and after the recess the Visitors started asking questions from the Goal-Keeper of East End Loins on two occasions until they were able to pull one more goal back which makes it (2-1).

They also came close to get the equalizing goal but the Goal-Keeper of East End Lions was in good position to deny that glorious chance.
“I knew the match is going to be difficult one for my team, but with proper preparations it helped my side to win today`s encounter, He added that we are taking match by match we have play seven match now with a defeat we will continue with that trend. Topping the Premier league table is not my focus now but to continue winning games,” The head coach of East End Loins football Club, Ibrahim Sillah revealed.
Francis Zappa Koroma the head coach of Kamboi Eagles football club said “It difficult to lose but that is football the most important thing is that what l was looking for I see it in the second half of play even though we lost but am satisfied with the results, I have taken this team for seven days coming in today match, we are building something which am sure in the next few weeks teams will be afraid to play against Kamboi Eagles football club”.
In the other results of the other matches
On Saturday Freetown City Council defeated Bai Bureh Warriors of Port LOKO at the PORT LOKO Mini Stadium by three goals to nil.
The two goals came from the first half and one more in the second half.
On Saturday At the Wusum mini Stadium, Wusum Stars Football club defeated Ports Authority Football Club by two comfortable goals as one goal came in the first half while the other came in the second half.
On Saturday the late kick off at the Siaka Stevens Stadium Old Edwardian Football club settled to a (1-1) draw as Old Edwardian took the early lead but stubborn Mighty Black pool fought back to get the equalizing in the second half of play.
On Saturday at the Parade grounds Central Parade Football Club came from two goals down to hold Mount Aureole SLIFA in a Two –Two draw in what is considered as a lackluster match.
