East End FC Sign Four New Players Ahead of CAF Champions League Preliminary Qualifiers

The newly Crown Champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League, East End Lions (E.E. Lions) Football Club, have confirmed that they have secured the signatures of four new players.

The Club has signed Abubakarr Barrie from Standard Football Club on a long-term, permanent deal. Barrie previously played for Diamond Stars, where he was serving his loan spell. The left back made enormous contributions to the team, leading them to various victories.

Additionally, Barrie’s impressive skills not only limited him to the club level but also propelled him to the National Team ranks. He brings a wealth of experience to our squad as we prepare for the upcoming season.

The Club also announced the signing of Santigie Bangura on a season-long loan from HADA FC. Bangura, who plays as a right back and center-back, initially played for Wilberforce Strikers, where he was on loan from HADA FC.

The young prodigy rose through the ranks of the National U15 and U17. He was a starter in Coach Mohamed Lamin’s U-17 squad that reached the WAFU Zone-A semi-finals in Mauritania in 2022, where they were eliminated in penalty shootouts by Senegal. Bangura is known for his confidence, speed, and agility.

Also, the Lions have signed Ivorian Goalkeeper, Mohamed Cisse Koua, from Real Du Faso (Burkina Faso and Attacking Midfielder, Alhassane Doumbouya from Academie De Dixinn FC from Guinea.

East End Lions are the officially crowned Champions of the 2024/2025 Leone Rock Premier League, crowning a season marked by consistent performance, resilience, and unwavering determination.
