District Traffic Officer’s Commanders Meeting Holds At Central Police Division

On the 19th, September, 2022, the weekly Commanders meeting of DTOs continued at the Conference hall Central Police Division Freetown.

The National Traffic Co-ordinator (NTC) Assistant Superintendent of Police DSP Alimamy Koroma, who chaired the meeting, continues to keeping abreast with DTOs Commanders on their day to day traffic activities in Freetown and by extension the whole Country.

The National Traffic Co-ordinator NTC continues his good-will message to his Commanders; to keeping doing their best in dispensing traffic duties in their Areas of Responsibilities AOR. As we are all aware that Schools are opened, ‘ all and sundry ‘ should be on robust traffic operations 24 hrs round the clock.

He also intimated Commanders that the Central Business District CBD is to be cleared- up of bikes plying at designated streets which fully started today. This was to implement the communiqué that was jointly agreed on at the Bank Complex in Kingtom.

The said agreement was between Executive members of Bike Riders Association, the Local Policing Partnership Boards, LPPBs the SLP and the National Council for Civic Education Dialogue and Development NaCCED Commanders gave their various sitreps from their Areas of Responsibilities AOR.
