In a significant gathering held at the District Health Management Team (DHMT) conference hall in Bo, district education stakeholders were brought together to be briefed on the upcoming ITN (Insecticide-Treated Nets) Mass Distribution Campaign, along with its pilot phase scheduled for Bo District.
Key figures addressing the gathering included District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr. Amara Stevens Ngegbai, Deputy-Director of Education Mr. Peter Abdulai, and a representative from UNICEF, Mr. Ogunade.
Madam Fatmata Dabor, the focal point for malaria control, and Mohamed Boima Massaquio, the Social Mobilization Coordinator, delivered a concise and informative presentation to the esteemed heads of schools and teachers from across Bo District.
The orientation session proved to be timely and well-received by participants, who expressed their gratitude for the initiative and pledged their unwavering support for the forthcoming campaign.
