Director of Finance & Family Donate 29 Pairs of Boots to Port Authority FC

On behalf of his family (both home and abroad), the Director of Finance Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority, Mr. Andrew Kpulum donated Twenty-nine Pairs of boots to the Authority’s football club, the Waterfront Boys. 

The donation, according to Mr. Kpulum, is in appreciation of the team’s performance in recent times and a fulfillment of a pledge he made inter alia to the team.

The Deputy Director General of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority, Madam Judith Kosseh who also doubled as the chairperson of the donation ceremony described the donation as a benevolent gesture and urged the waterfront boys to reciprocate it by upping their game.  She noted that the authority is proud of the team giving their impressive performance of late.

Chairman of the Ports Authority Football Club Executive, Abubakarr Kamara (ESQ.) thanked Mr. Kpulum and encouraged other well-wishers to emulate.

 He said the Authority acknowledged the performance of the team.

On his part, Waterfront boys’ team coach, Hassan Milla said the team’s performance of recent times is as a result of motivation from the management of SLPHA. 

Team Captain Mohamed Bangura thanked the donor and assured of bringing the authority soccer glories.

The ceremony was witnessed by SLPHA Human Resources Director, Alhassan George, Secretary General of Ports Authority F.C, Addrissa Mago Tarawally and others.

Port Authority FC is set to take on East End Lions Team this weekend in Crunch ties of the Leone Rock Premier League.

Many has described the match as East End derby clash with lots of intensity in and off the Pitch of play.
