The Diamond Stars Football Club in Koidu City kono District has over the weekend presented Titlo Cole as the newly appointed head coach of the above named team to the people of Kono District on Sunday 7th November, 2021.
The aforementioned presentation took place at the Diamond Stars Residential complex at the resettlement community in Koidu city Kono District during a press conference that was organized by the management of the aforesaid team.
When asked to know what was the rationale behind the said appointment of the newly appointed head coach of the team, the team manager of the Diamond Stars football club, PC Paul Ngabba Saquee the fifth (V) foremost disclosed that the idea of appointing another head coach for the team cannot be unconnected with the precarious position of the team in the ongoing Sierra Leone premier league.
Nothing that, the team is far behind in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League and as executives including other strong members of the team they thought it prudent to appoint another head coach of the team in order to help address the ugly circumstances in the team and other necessary issues that need to be addressed before the end of the ongoing Sierra Leone premier league.
On his part, the newly appointed head coach of the diamond stars football club, Coach Titlo Cole expressed gratitude to the executive, board and the entire membership of the team for given him such a golden opportunity to serve as the head coach for the team.
Mr. Cole conclusively maintained that, his appointment as the head coach of the team will not serve as a profile solution to the team in order to be the wining team in the ongoing Sierra Leone premier league but rather to making sure of moving the team from it long distance position of 16 to either 10th or 5th positions before the end of the aforesaid premier league.
Whiles further maintaining that they are going to embark on a massive training.
Aiah Joseph Mbayo is the chairman of the Diamond Stars fan Club he described the appointment of the newly head coach of the team as a positive move, nothing that, it could be one of the footsteps of the executives and the membership in order to address the discouraging position of the team.
He also encouraged the newly appointed head coach, the players and the executive respectively to put hands on desk to move from the current position of the team to a better fitting position as they as fans are always ready to support the team when in dire need.
