Twenty-nine years old Foday Musa Kamara a Designer made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on three count charges to wit Wounding with intent to Murder, Wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 15th March 2023 at SOS drive, off Regent Road Lumley the western area in Freetown maliciously wounded Musa Alpha with intent to murder him on count three the accused persons assaulted the said complainant in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm
The charges was read and explained to the accused person No plea.
Counsel representing the accused person J. Smith applied for bail for and on behalf of the accused person that he is a Sierra Leonean resident within this jurisdiction that he has credible sureties who are willing and ready to go into recognisance on his behalf he will not interfere with prosecution witness or witnesses he made his application pursuant to section 79 2 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965.
Meanwhile Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown.
The matter is adjourned to the 31st March 2023 for further hearing Deputy Superintendent of police Marie Sesay prosecuting the matter.
