In a groundbreaking turn of events, the Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, demonstrated remarkable leadership and a relentless commitment to fostering unity in a country that had long been marred by political division and animosity. Recognizing the urgent need for inclusive and participatory governance, as well as a resolution to the political deadlock, the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion (ICPNC) orchestrated a three-day, behind-the-scenes dialogue between the APC and the government, mediated by international bodies, including the African Union, ECOWAS, and the Commonwealth.
