Crispin Ekundayo George, the General Manager of Cricket Sierra Leone Limited (CSL), recently visited the Senior Ladies Patriots, U19 Female, U19 Male, and U17 Boys teams at the Kingtom Cricket Oval. This visit underscores his dedication to engaging with various cricket teams and stakeholders, reinforcing his hands-on approach to promoting the sport in Sierra Leone.

Since his appointment as General Manager, following a successful tenure as Acting General Manager, George has made significant strides in enhancing cricket infrastructure, promoting the sport, and improving operations within CSL. He has shown a clear vision for the growth of cricket in Sierra Leone, with a strong emphasis on grassroots development and nationwide promotion.

Under his leadership, Cricket Sierra Leone has achieved several milestones, including 16 development-focused initiatives during his acting tenure. Some of his key achievements including improving playing conditions by revitalizing essential equipment like rollers and leveling cricket pitches to ensure better playing surfaces, and proactively assessing cricket facilities through tours to gather data and identify areas in need of improvement, further demonstrating his commitment to fostering cricket development.

George’s efforts reflect a forward-thinking approach, aiming to build a strong foundation for the future of Sierra Leone cricket and elevate the country’s standing on the international stage
