In an emergency meeting held on Monday, the Members’ Council of Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL), the highest decision-making body at the company, adopted a six-point resolution and expressed its satisfaction with the running of cricket.
It started off by affirming the existence of efficient and effective coordination between the Members’ Council and the Board of Directors/Management of Cricket Sierra Leone.
With Board Chairman Francis Trevor Samura on a month’s leave, the Council approved Vice Chairman Kobi Walker to act in his capacity till his return.
It expressed its satisfaction and confidence in the day-to-day management and running of Cricket Sierra Leone.
It went on to “unequivocally” dissociate itself from all social media postings relating to Cricket Sierra Leone, which it said did not emanate from its official channels.
The Members’ Council said it recorded its consent and approval of the Finance and Budget of Cricket Sierra Leone as presented.
It ended by saying that the Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone has not interfered with the internal management of Cricket Sierra Leone so far and noted that it will continue to apply the provisions in its internal structures to resolve issues while the Commission conducts its investigations.
