Forty-four-year-old Mohamed Mansaray, alias “Kolo,” a building contractor, made another court appearance before Magistrate Mary Juliet Gbloh of Pademba Road Court No. 5 on two counts: conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law, and housebreaking and larceny contrary to Section 26(1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence, between 1st and 30th October 2025, at Mansaray Drive, Regent Village in the Mountain Rural District, Western Area, Freetown, the accused is alleged to have conspired with unknown persons to commit a crime.
Count two further states that on the same date and at the same location, the defendant, with intent to steal, allegedly broke and entered the dwelling house of Chrispin Kargbo and stole the sum of eighteen thousand six hundred Leones (Le 18,600), one 32-inch black plasma television, and other assorted items valued at a total of fifty-three thousand nine hundred Leones (Le 53,900), all property of Chrispin Kargbo.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused, no plea was taken.
The prosecutor, Sergeant 9906 Umu Jalloh, informed the court that the relevant documents had been served on the defendant.
The accused was not legally represented.
