Contractor Jail for loitering

21yrs old contractor, Joseph Sesay has on the 20th January, 2022 made his first appearance before Magistrate Alpha Rashid Jalloh in Freetown on one count charge. 

Led in evidence by sergeant 1306 Augusta Balla Sesay prosecution witness number one Emmanuel Bangura said he recognized the accused person as his neighbor and recall on Sunday 16th January 2022.

He said on that day, he was at Gidibonta when he got an information about the accused; he rush home and  met the accused person was tied up in his compound and took him at Lumley police station where  report and statement was obtained from him and his witness. 

The accused person was unrepresented. 

Cross examination by the accused person posting his questions to the witness said since have being living with you did you ever lose any items, the witness said no.

The accused was arraigned before the court on a count of loitering with intend contrary to section 8 of the public order act No.16 of 1965.

According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 6th January 2022 at Lumley the western area in Freetown was found loitering with intend to commit a felony.
