Lamin Conteh ignited the comeback with a clinical finish inside the opening 10 minutes, setting the tone for a determined performance. Substitute Juldeh Jalloh completed the turnaround with a stoppage-time equalizer in the 92nd minute, leveling the aggregate and sending the tie to penalties.
Conteh-U held their nerve in the shootout, prevailing 4-2 to eliminate the Masombiri-based Hardit Strikers, whose hopes of a maiden semifinal appearance were dashed in heartbreaking fashion.
