19yrs-old Marion Fofanah a commercial Sex worker made another appearance before Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh of Ross Road Court No.3 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Wounding Contrary to Section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861 and Assault Occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence on 27th August 2022 at the Freetown Central lorry Park grass field Kissy Marion Fofanah maliciously wounded and assaulted Samuel Wray in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person who pleaded guilty.
The accused person was unrepresented by legal counsel and she had been granted bail on her third appearance but failing to fulfil the bail conditions she made fifteen appearances before the court.
Meanwhile, after several adjournment dates without witness Magistrate Daboh discharged the accused person pursuant to section 94 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965 Sub inspector, while S.I.M George prosecuted the matter.
