China Media Group (CMG) is fully prepared to provide comprehensive, world-class coverage of the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, scheduled to take place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1.
To ensure world-class reporting as China hosts the summit, the largest in SCO history, CMG has mobilized a team of over 760 professionals, leveraging the group’s radio, TV and new media platforms, with a focus on international communication.
High-tech & multi-platform coverage
CMG’s coverage will be powered by advanced technology. Seven broadcasting vans, 8-meter jibs and elevated camera towers have been deployed to ensure seamless live broadcasts. Notably, CMG’s “China Red” 4K/8K ultra-high-definition broadcasting van arrived in Tianjin in mid-August and has undergone rigorous testing, captivating both locals and tourists.
An outdoor studio at the Tianjin Railway Station Square by the Haihe River, which opened on Thursday, will serve as a key broadcasting hub.
