Lamin Kallon who was in the early hours of last Monday night seen running for help with his intestine in his hands was allegedly stabbed on his stomach by the said unknown group of boys in the municipality of Koidu because some clique members saw him wearing black attire which to them apparently identified him to be a black Leo member.

He is presently under intensive medical care with the help of a medical non-governmental organization operating in kono district partners in health (PIH).

According to Lamin Kallon the incident took place at the community area in Koidu city as he travelled from Tongor four days ago in order to visit some of his family members that are residing in the district.

When asked to know his take on the allegation of him not being a member of the black Leo clique group as perceived by those that stabbed him.

The stabbed victim whilst on his sick bed responded in tears and pain that he was not a member of any of the clique groups noting that on that fateful night one of the unknown group members hit him before another member of the same unknown group stabbed him leaving his gut hanging outside.

According to him he shouted for help but initially nobody came to his aid for the fear of him not being a thief.

He maintained that after sometime having bled profusely it was a woman who aided him with five thousand Leones in order for him to access the Koidu government hospital for medication.

Meanwhile, whilst responding to treatment of the Koidu government hospital the stabbed victim Lamin Kallon has pleaded with all and sundry especially the security sector to be watchful as the city of Koidu and Kono District are not safe as lives are in stake.
