In a democratic display of organizational leadership, the Civil Society Forum in Bo District held elections for its executive positions, resulting in Joseph Dominic Blackie emerging as the new chairman. The announcement, made by Chief Electoral Commissioner Alex Sefoi Macavorey, marked the conclusion of a tightly contested election process.

Blackie’s victory was solidified with 14 valid votes, surpassing his contender, Madam Regina Kombe-Kajue, who garnered 10 votes, with 1 void vote recorded. The atmosphere was charged with jubilation as members celebrated the outcome, reflecting the democratic spirit of the civil society.

In a gesture of sportsmanship and unity, Madam Regina Kombe-Kajue gracefully conceded defeat and embraced the winner, Joseph Dominic Blackie, a moment that garnered praise from all in attendance.
