The Chiefdom Mammy Queen in Gbane, Kono District, Madam Sia Yoursor Bindi has applauded President Julius Maada Bio and his development partners for reintroducing the school feeding in selected schools in Kono District and the country as a whole.

She said the government school feeding program has created positive impacts thereby not allowing parents to spend on their children for lunch in the chiefdom especially women.
She disclosed that before this time, it was very difficult for them as parents to provide lunch for their children, as most of them do stay at home or abscond from school during lunch hours because their parents cannot give them basic lunch in the chiefdom.
She maintained that the government school feeding program in their chiefdom has highly motivated children to go to school on time and pay much attention to their academic work.
The mammy Queen of Gbane chiefdom in Kono District, further thanked president Julius Maada Bio led government for his charismatic leadership in the implementation of the school feeding program in her chiefdom and the country as a whole.
She pointed out that Gbane chiefdom among other chiefdoms in Kono District is a beneficiary of the recent supply of school teaching and learning materials.
She noted how she admires the leadership of president Bio, because whatever he says, he will do and he has good policies.
“The good work president Bio is doing in other chiefdoms, I want it to be implemented in my chiefdom to ensure my chiefdom stands a better position in the District in terms of discipline” Madam SiaYousur Bindi opined.
She however called on parents to monitor their children and always dress them neatly when going to school.
