The Director of Defence for Children International, Mr. Abdul Manaff Kemokai, has expressed deep appreciation for the Honourable Chief Justice Komba Kamanda’s inspirational leadership and growing commitment to improving the justice system for children in conflict with the law on Wednesday 26th November 2025.
During his courtesy visit, Mr. Kemokai applauded the Chief Justice’s continued efforts to strengthen juvenile justice and noted the positive impact of recent reforms aimed at protecting vulnerable children within the legal framework.
In his response, Chief Justice Kamanda warmly welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the Judiciary’s dedication to safeguarding children’s rights. He pledged to fast-track initiatives that enhance access to justice for juveniles, stressing that the welfare of children remains a top priority under his administration.
The meeting concluded on an optimistic note, with both parties expressing their willingness to deepen collaboration to ensure a fairer and more child-friendly justice system.
