Malema Queens CEO, Foday Antony praised his team for their performance despite the team’s 2-0 loss to Sierra Leone Police on Sunday at the Kingtom complex.

Konie Bangura’s brace was enough to sink the visitors who are a point ahead of SL Police, three (3) points behind Mogbwema Queens and nine (9) points behind the league leaders Kahula Queens in the current standings.

Despite Malema Queens going down, the chairman remains optimistic about clinching this year’s title and is happy with the outcome of the game.

Antony said “It was a good game, they (Malema Queens) showed their quality and collective effort,” he told this press. Sierra Leone Police is a good team. Our players try to do what the coach asked them to do and I am impressed.”

He continued “We are not mad at you, just get yourself together for our next fixture at home to Correctional Service FC,” he appealed.

“You may lose in football, I’m sad we lost but I am very happy with the performance”.

He added: “When the league started many football fans tipped Mogbwema Queens and Kahunla Queens as title contenders but see where we are today, we’ll fight till the end”, “I think we can do better. We can improve our game generally,” added the Chairman.
