15th of August 2022 for further hearing and bail continues for the accused person.       Tridankay Jabbie a business woman made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on Monday, the 20th June 2022 at No10 pipe line Marjay Town Goderich the western area in Freetown did steal the sum of forty thousand new Leones (40,000) from Moses Tucker. 

On his first appearance, the charges were read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty. 

Led in evidence by Assistant Superintendent of police Abdul Sannoh First prosecution witness (PW1) Abayomi Metzger a Cashier from Yandyis capital said he recognized the accused person and met the accused person at the beach.

PW1 said he recalled the 20th of June 2022 something transpired between himself and the accused person and that on the said date he met the accused person at the beach at night. He and the accused person agreed that she will spend the night at his house the witness said one of his boys who slept inside his house closed the door and kept the keys till morning.

One of his boys by the name of Francis woke up and told him that his doors were open the witness said his bag was damaged and discovered that the sum of forty million Leones had missing which money belongs to the company he worked for.

The witness said he called boy Moses and asked him how the accused person went and said because the doors were opened.

The witness said Moses gave him information about the accused person and said he went to the Adonkia police station where he made a report to the police, and they went to his house and took snapshots of his house and he later made a statement to the police. The witness was cross-examined by the accused person.
