The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed two Sierra Leonean Sports Officials to commission and Assess the next Africa Cup of Preliminary Qualifiers in Liberia.

The Chairman of the Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC), Kasho Holland Cole, has been honored with a prestigious appointment by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Cole is set to serve as the Match Commissioner for the highly anticipated 2025 African Cup of Nations preliminary qualifier between Liberia and Djibouti.

The crucial fixture is scheduled to take place on March 26, 2024, at the Samuel Kayon Doe Stadium in Paynesville, Monrovia, with kickoff set for 4 pm local time. This marks a significant moment for Cole as he steps onto the international stage, representing Sierra Leone in a key role within African football.

Adding to the Sierra Leonean presence, Alhaji Sanusi Rashid has been designated as the Referee Assessor for the match. Both officials carry the hopes and best wishes of their nation as they contribute to the smooth conduct of the qualifier.
