Joel Salter Williams made another appearance before Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay of the High Court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge of Manslaughter.
The statement of offence reads that the accused is charged with Manslaughter and the particulars of offence states that the accused person Joel Salter Williams on the 31st January 2021 at Waterloo in the Western Area of the Republic of Sierra Leone unlawfully killed Joel Bernard Salter Williams.
Second Prosecution Witness Sergent 10641Kamara attached at the Criminal Investigations Department Kissy Division.
Prosecution Witness said he recognized the accused person.
He said on the 1st February 2021 he was on duty when he received a phone call from the Crime officer at Hastings Police Station Inspector Bundu informing him of a crime scene.
He continued that upon information received he left with the Investigating officer DPC 144 Jalloh S where they both visited the crime scene at No.1 Lord Hastings Freetown.
Prosecution Witness said that at the crime scene they discovered one black foam slippers alleged to be the slippers of the deceased and at the back of the area where the scene happened according to him there was a rock present where the incident occurred.
Mr. Ibrahim Kamara said he took photographs with his digital camera of the said crime scene.
He furthermore testified that on the 5th February 2021 himself, the Investigating officer and relatives of the deceased witnessed the autopsy examination of Salter Williams Junior younger brother of the accused that was performed by Dr. Simeon Owizz Koroma and also took photographs.
He said on the 6th February 2021 he took the memory card from the camera at Photo snap studio for printing.
Witness was shown the Photo Album and was tendered in court to form part of the evidence marked as Exhibit C1-4

Matter has been adjourned to the 16th June 2021 for further hearing.
