Bo District Football Association (BoDFA) has resolved to postpone the ongoing division two tournament indefinitely. This follows an official press release from NACOVERC intended to institute measures to curb the third wave of COVID-19 in Sierra Leone.
This was contained in a Press Release issued to the Media.
Reacting to the press release, some players said they are happy over the action of BoDFA to suspend the tournament.
Brima Kamara a resident of Bo said that ”I know that action was taken for safety as health is wealth. We should all join NACOVERC to contain the third wave of the pandemic.”
Mr Kamara said those players who are above 3O years should ensure that they go and take the COVID-19 vaccine as it is free.
A female Player Julliet King said that “the coaches and Managers should ensure that players go and take the dosage of the jab. This he said should be made mandatory by all coaches and Managers of football club.
