In a concerted effort to bolster law enforcement and promote unity among officers, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Mr. Alphonso A. Fambulleh, affectionately known as “CORRECT MAN,” and the Local Unit Commander (LUC) of Bo West Division, spearheaded a productive meeting with post-commanders on a Saturday.
The gathering, convened at the Bo West Criminal Investigations Department, had the primary objective of nurturing a spirit of camaraderie and professionalism within the ranks of the officers. LUC Fambulleh inaugurated the session by urging post-commanders to ensure full compliance and to promptly report any criminal incidents within their respective areas of responsibility.
During the interactive meeting, LUC Fambulleh underscored critical thematic areas such as integrity, professionalism, dedication, timely communication, and discipline. Addressing the commanders, he remarked, “I have served in Freetown and the Northeast, and today, I stand here with you. I expect you to welcome me as a fellow brother and colleague, working diligently toward a common purpose.”
The event also witnessed the presence of the Regional Police Commander South, AIG Brima Kanneh, who acknowledged the challenges faced by the commanders. AIG Kanneh urged the operations team to intensify their nocturnal patrols, underscoring the paramount importance of maintaining peace and order in Bo City for the entire Southern region.
Post-commanders provided situational updates from their respective posts, highlighting both accomplishments and obstacles. Notably, a significant concern addressed was the shortage of personnel, identified as a pressing issue necessitating swift resolution.
The interactive meeting concluded on an optimistic note, with officers demonstrating unity and a reinvigorated dedication to their duties. Following the fruitful discussions, attendees enjoyed a session of convivial refreshments, further enhancing a sense of camaraderie and collaboration among the officers.
