Sierra Leone Premier League champions Bo Rangers has been selected to play the LISCR of Liberia in the 2023-24 CAF Champions League preliminary round of qualifiers.
According to the preliminary rounds the winner will engage CRB of Algeria in the next round and the winner of both tie will progressed to the group stages of the Africa Champions League.
Solomon Demby the assistant Public Relations Officer of BO Rangers Football Club said they are going into the CAF Champions League Preliminary round to compete this time and they will not be seen going there to take part like their first outing in which they crashed out in the preliminary rounds.
He said the clubs has just finished champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League and they will commence preparations by next week to brace up for the West Africa Champions Trophy in Guinea next month.
He further that the players will enjoy a good pre-season tour which will be of a different than last year; this time around the players are going to be tested in the Champions Cup in Guinea before going for the first leg match against their Liberia counterpart.
He confirmed that after the few weeks break giving to the players; the technical team will submit their report as to the number of personnel to be added to the already existing one.
The 2023-24 CAF Champions League, officially known as the 2023-24 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, it will mark the 60th edition of Africa’s top club football competition.
The tournament is organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and will be the 28th edition held under the current title of CAF Champions League.

The winner of the 2023-24 Total Energies CAF Champions League will earn the title of African club champion and will have the opportunity to represent Africa in the FIFA Club World Cup, competing against the champions from other continental confederations.
