The Newly Crowned Champion Bo Rangers football club on the 5th July 2022 returned to training in preparation for their Preliminary stage of the Champions League stage.
Solomon Demby the Public Relations Officer of BO Rangers Football Club said they returned to training to start preparation in earnest as the preliminary stage of the Champions League will kick in September and the technical wants to get the players to early preparation and focus on the task ahead.
He affirmed that the people of BO can’t wait to see their team back in training in preparation for the Champions League the first time their team is taking part in such competition from the Southern Region and they want to see their team making it onto the quarter-final or may winning it. He noted the fans are optimistic that their team will be ready for the task ahead.
He further that players that are not with the national home team have returned to training and the only players that are not with the squad are the players preparing for the Leone Stars’ home team.
He added that the players want to write their history in the Africa Champion League, their aim is not just the preliminary rounds they want to make it to the group stages, quarter-final, or possibly win it, the head and backroom staff have returned early last week to start the task ahead, in the area of buying players yes we are going to add to the squad, but that can be done by the technical team they show the players they want and after that, we as management can come in and buy those players they need.
In another development, Bo Rangers Football Club has secured a home venue in Liberia for their home matches ahead of the Champions League Preliminary qualifiers, and at present, the southern Arena Stadium work Is in progress and the stand and the floods light are currently tests as the venue is gradually getting to completion if the club progress to the group stages there is the possibility that they will be hosting there matches at home in Bo at the newly built Stadium southern Arena.
