BO RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB PICKS UP SECOND AWAY WIN

BO RANGERS Football club has on Sunday 17th October picked up their first win away from home as they defeated Central Parade Football Club by three goals to one (3-1) at the Siaka Stevens Stadium.

The host Central Parade Football Club started the match with an impressive and flamboyant play,  but it take just six minutes when Mohamed Fogbawa get the early goal for the visitors,  and they maintained the match until it went in to second half with a goal advantage.

In the second half the Elephant where hungry for more goals as their informed striker Musa Noah Kamara scored in the 46 minutes of play to take his tally to seven goals for the Elephant in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier league. Momoh Conteh the midfielder of BO Rangers Football club get the third goal to wrap up the vital three points for the Visitors and that marks their first win in Freetown since the resumption of the Sierra Leone Premier league.

Central Parade Football Club towards the tail end of the match get a consolation goal as Saidu Bangura converted it for his side.

According to the head coach of BO Rangers Football club Jose Salomon Cortes

“I am very happy for the result because we came to Freetown for the three points, we know it’s going to be a difficult match for us, because the last time I watch them played against Kamboi Eagles football club and learnt a lot from that I know they have a good team”. Coach Cortes said.

He added that in the second half they played a well-organized football that helped them secure the three points in today’s match.

While the head coach of Central Parade Football club Mohamed Lamin Kamara said the match was a tough match for his side as BO Rangers were well organized and more clinical in front of goal as compared to his team.

 “We wasted so many chances in the second half which we failed to convert to goal, but we will go back to the drawing board and rectify our mistakes before our next encounter against FC Johansen”,Coach Kamara stated.

In the other matches on Sunday Diamond Stars lost at home against FC Johansen at the Koidu Town mini Stadium as the only goal came in the closing stages of the match as the visitors grab the vital three points away from home.

On Saturday at the Siaka Stevens Stadium East End Tigers Football Club settled to a one all draw against FC Kallon Football club as both goals came in the second half of play.

At the Approved School mini Stadium Anti-Drugs Football club settle to a goalless draw with Freetown City Council as both team failed to find the ball at the back of the net.
