Bo Rangers Football Club has on the 27th July 2022 completed the signing of FC Kallon defender Abu Bakarr Samura fondly called (Lucio) for an undisclosed fee for three-years.
Tunde Scott the General Manager of FC Kallon Football Club said “As a club, we have sold our player Abu Bakarr Samura to Bo Rangers Football Club for an undisclosed fee and we have already found a replacement for his departure, we wish him all the best in his new club.”
FC Kallon football club is currently bracing up for the Africa Confederation Cup Preliminary rounds that are set to kick off in September 2022. Sport analysis are saying Abu Bakarr’s departure will course a huge gap to the team, and Fans of the club have started raising concerns about the depth going for the Confederation Cup and the Premier League.
Abu Bakarr Samura has been a pivotal player for FC Kallon Football club since joining the club, and he was outstanding with the club in the 2018/2019 Premier League season where he gained a lot of attention and get his first call in the national team. In 2020 /2021/22 he was rated as one the best defenders in the just concluded Premier League. He was part of the Leone Stars squad that travels to Mauritania in an international friendly and currently part of the National Home-based squad in the CHAN Qualifiers.
