2021/2022 Premier League Champions Bo Rangers Football Club has intensified preparations ahead of the new season of the Sierra Leone Premier League in the Country.
Bo Rangers Football Club became the first team to win the Premier League in the Southern Region for the first time after 86 years in their history and also became the first team from the region to represent the Country in the CAF Champions League where they were eliminated in the Preliminary rounds of the qualifiers.
Solomon Demby the assistant public relations Officer of Bo Rangers Football Club said as a club they started the early preparation because they want to start from where they left off in the last league season as they were crowned Champion of the Premier League for the first time in the Competition history.
He affirmed that as a club they have got small International experience in their last outing in the African Champions League Preliminary round qualifiers and they want to use such to defend their title again for the second time in their history, noting that the Chairman of the club Babadi Kamara has held a frank discussion with the players and tell them to brace up and defend their title and that Management is ready to give them all their support and the Fans are behind them in full backing in maintaining the Premier League.
He further that there are plans that they are going to use their home venue the Southern Arena which is under construction, noting that even though they are going to start the league without their Talisman striker Musa Noah Kamara who won the Gold Boot with them as a player, but the Management has to bring in other players to boost the squad ahead of the new campaign adding that the club is going to solid and difficult to defeat in the Premier League.
Solomon Demby said yes, they are aware of the signing of other clubs ahead of the new season, but they are not worried about such development, because they will be competing in the league and win it back-to-back, nothing that the fans of Bo Rangers and the residents of Southern District are in full support to be behind the team come to the new Campaign of the Premier League.
