The Bo District Health Management Team (DHMT) convened its monthly In-Charges meeting today at Gbonda Hall, Dambala Road, with a focus on reviewing and advancing healthcare service delivery across the district. The meeting brought together health in-charges from various facilities, DHMT units, and key health sector stakeholders to discuss progress and strategize for the coming months.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Amara Steven Ngegbai delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the in-charges to remain committed to their roles as leaders in their communities. He emphasized the importance of consistent quality in health services and underscored the collective responsibility to ensure that healthcare delivery meets the highest standards.
Throughout the session, in-charges and DHMT unit representatives presented updates on their activities over the past month. Each presentation provided insights into achievements, challenges, and areas requiring further improvement, setting the stage for an open discussion on best practices and opportunities to optimize services.
The meeting, chaired by Osman Sillah, head of the 117 response team, allowed participants to assess the impact of recent initiatives and coordinate plans for sustainable improvements in patient care, resource management, and public health outreach across the Bo District.
The event, organized with the support of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) unit, was conducted with a high level of engagement. Attendees actively participated in problem-solving discussions, sharing ideas to enhance the reach and effectiveness of healthcare services.
