BENEVOLENT PUPIL DOCKED FOR ALLEGED THEFT

A Pupil attending Benevolent Secondary School in Mile 91, was on Monday 5th July 2021, brought down to Freetown after Investigating him for alleged theft.

The accused Ibrahim Bundu made his first appearance before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker of Court No. 3 Pademba Road in Freetown on a count of Larceny Contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916. According to the charge sheet the accused Ibrahim Bundu on Sunday 20th June 2021, at No.9 Krootown road in Freetown stole one Samsung Note 8 mobile phone, value nine million Leones property of Haja Fatmata Turay.

 The accused person is not represented and he was not granted bail

Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker adjourned the matter to the 12th July 2021. Inspector Marie Sesay  Prosecuting the matter.

In another development in the same Court and date, Michael Massaquoi a building contractor was also brought to court by Ibrahim Tamba Koroma for stealing 65 white boards. The accused Michael Massaquoi is charged with a count of Larceny Contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916. According to the charge sheet, the accused on Monday 14th June 2021, at Guma gate, Regent, Freetown, alledge steal 65 leaves white boards value four million five hundred and fifty five thousand Leones, property of Ibrahim Tamba Koroma.

The accused person was unrepresented

Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker adjourned the matter to 12th July 2021.Police Constable15192 Mary Mansaray is Prosecuting the matter.
