29yrs old Michael Kamara alias Popcorn a beggar made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny from the person Contrary to section 14 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on the 8th May 2022 at Tolo Night club Ogoo farm peninsular Road the western area in Freetown did steal from person of Amidu Fabai one Tecno Spark 7 mobile phone valued one million eight hundred thousand Leones (1,800,000) property of the said Amidu Fabai.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
However Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correction.
