Management of the Bo Council has provided new sets of uniform for the Bo City Council Metropolitan police.
The Metropolitan police of the Council are charged with the responsibility of maintaining law and order in the locality and capacitating the said law enforcement agency with necessary training, clothing and equipment boosts up their performance level.
Officially unveiling the uniforms which have been supplied to every metropolitan police, the Metropolitan police assembled in the Council’s office premise on Tuesday 4th May 2021, neatly regaled and on time as usual for their parade. Addressing the Metropolitan police during the parade, the Chief Administrator, Veronica J. Fortune whom was given gallant salutes as she approached the lined up gentlemen registered her admiration over the beauty of the uniforms handed over to the Metropolitan police by her team.
“To whom much has been given, much is expected of you all,” CA Fortune intimated the police. She stated that they have cried for new uniforms for months since she took over the management of the council and that she has delivered on promise. However, the new set of uniform supplies means they need to work more and bring forth good delivery than the status quo, Madam Fortune stressed. “You are all smiling, smartly dressed. This is to motivate you all and so, double up and see more goodies come through,” she ended up with an aurally smile.
Commanding officer of the Bo City Council Metropolitan police, ASP Jonathan Murray on behalf of his men thanked the management for adding up to their morale as their colorful and beautiful uniforms speak volume of them around the city. “It has been a while since we last had full sets of uniform (shirt, trouser, beret, belt and boots) and so given the fact that such is here for us, we’re grateful. We’re quite aware of the Management’s expectation of us and so we are ever committed to that,” posited ASP Jonathan Murray.
After the Official unveiling of the uniforms, the Metropolitan police in their navy blue with gold stripes suit lined up for photographs with the Council’s Chief Administrator, Veronica J. Fortune, Deputy Mayor of the Council, David J. N. Smart and Deputy Chief Administrator, Arthur Alieu.
