Baker, Security discharged for lack of evidence

Alhaji Sallieu Bella Bah a Baker and Alfred Moore a Security made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Malicious damage contrary to section 51 of the Malicious damage Act 1861

According to the particulars of offence on Thursday 4th August 2022 at Youyi building police post the western area in Freetown maliciously damage the cell steel door value ten million Leones (Le 10,000,000) property of the Sierra Leone Government.

The charge was read and explained to the accused person and they pleaded not guilty. 

The accused person on their second appearance they were granted bail on ten million Leones each with two sureties each sureties to be employed sureties to produce valid identity card depicting his or her addresses in Freetown bail to be granted by the Bench.

After nine appearance the prosecution where unable to produce any witness (s) in respect of the said matter.

Therefore, Magistrate Peter Gogra discharged both accused persons pursuant to section 94 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965.

Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun prosecuted the matter.
