The highly anticipated SLFA Orange FA Cup 2026 kicked off on April 8, 2026, delivering an exhilarating opening day that saw thirty-seven goals scored across six matches.

Bai Bureh Warriors showcased their formidable talent, dismantling Imperi Foundation FC with a stunning 9-0 victory. The team’s success was highlighted by a hat trick from Sampha Hassan Kamara, alongside goals from Mohamed S. Mansaray, Amidu A. Bangura, Omega Thoronka, Albert P. Turay, and a brace from Koliko P. Haba.

Sampha Hassan Kamara opened the scoring just two minutes into the match, setting the tone for the Warriors. Koliko P. Haba added another in the 10th minute, followed by Albert P. Turay’s goal at the 20-minute mark. Capio Bangura rounded off a dominant first half with a fourth goal in the 23rd minute, leading to an astonishing halftime score of 7-0.

In other matches, Bo Rangers triumphed over Gbindi FC with a 5-0 victory, while Star Sport Academy FC secured a comfortable win against Prospect at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom.
